Solutions for Chapter 4: Memories.

1) START | CORRIDOR

Very first corridor of Chapter 4

If you can’t get out of this corridor, check, the spoiler below:

Spoiler:

  1. Walk forward a certain amount of time (about 10s)
  2. When I.G. tells you to go back, walk back to the beginning
  3. You’ll notice that the corridor has changed
  4. Try again to leave. It changes again and you can continue


2) TRAIN | ROOM

In the Train Room, you must enable teleporters, then activate pressure plates in a specific order:

  • Look through the windows, you will find a button, BLOCKED by CARDBOARD BOXES:
  • Hint: CARDBOARD BOXES are lightweight! Maybe you can push them, somehow?
  • If you cannot find the solution, reveal the next spoiler below

  • You must first SHOOT the CARDBOARD BOXES out of the way!
  • After shooting the boxes, you can now shoot the button behind!
  • If you can’t find the button, check the Spoiler below.

After shooting the CARDBOARD BOXES to push them away, you can now shoot the button:

If you cannot solve the Cubes & Pressure Plates puzzle, reveal the Spoiler below

Spoiler:

  1. Teleporters are now active. Go through the first one (on your left).
  2. Get a box from the pile of boxes behind the lasers
  3. Go back through the teleporter
  4. Walk carefully with the box while facing the lasers, to reach the pressure plate safely
  5. Drop the box on the first pressure plate:
Activate this Pressure Plate FIRST!

Once you have activated the first Pressure Plate as shown above:

  1. Go back through the teleporter, and get the second box
  2. Drop the box on the pressure plate next to you (in the same room):
Then, activate this Pressure Plate LAST!


3) MAINTENANCE | ACCESS
Facing the Big Door

After the cutscene with the crows, you will be facing a Big Door. Before you continue, you should search for the Blowtorch.

3.1) FIND | BLOWTORCH

In order to access Mirror Maintenance, you must first find the Blowtorch item:

  • HINT 1: When you are facing the Big Door after the flying crows (or respawn in front of it), look behind you, you will find a Teleporter appeard from where you came in!
  • Can’t find the Teleporter? Check the Spoiler below!

Spoiler:

  • HINT 2: Take the teleporter that appeared where you came in:
Go through this teleporter on the right to find the Blowtorch

If you still cannot find the Blowtorch, reveal the Spoiler below

Spoiler:

  • HINT 3: Enter the Teleporter. Avoid the horse and you will find the Blowtorch on your left, inside the crates. You need to interact with it to pick it up:
Blowtorch is inside the box!


4) COSMOS | ROOM

The Cosmos Room requires you to enable the Power Beam, then align the mirrors to hit the button.

4.1) ENABLE | POWER BEAM

You must turn on the blue light power beam:

  • HINT: Interact with it, just after the horses. Then, align KM1 with KM2:


4.2) ENTER | MAINTENANCE

Now that you have the Blowtorch, you can access Mirrors Maintenance area.

If you did not pick up the Blowtorch yet, please scroll up to 3.1) FIND BLOWTORCH section.

4.3) MIRRORS | ORIENTATION

When you have reached Mirror Maintenance area, you’ll need to orient mirrors to reach the final button.

4.4) GENERATOR 1 | FIND CODE
Inside the Cosmos Room

You must find the code to get access to the first Generator and repair it. Hints below:

  • HINT 1: The code can be found inside the boxes on the table. Look closely 😉
  • Still can’t find it? Check the spoiler below.

  • HINT 2: In one of the boxes you should find a clock. That’s important:

When you have found the code, interact with the Generator and repair it. You have now completed the Cosmos Room! You can now reach the Soul Room.

5) SOUL | ROOM
Inside the Soul Room

As you enter the Soul Room, you will have a cut-scene showing you the important objects of the room. You 3 tasks to accomplish.

5.1) FREE | THE CROWS

Spoiler:

  • Get the Cube by using the moving platforms and two buttons to reach it:
Shoot these buttons to activate moving platforms, and reach the Cube
  • Drop the Cube on the pressure plate at the entrance:
Drop the Cube on the Pressure Plate next to the Entrance
  • Stairs will now appear in the room, next the the RED cage
  • Use your Blowtorch to open the BLUE cage at the back, far-right of the room:
Interact with Blue cage to cut it open and get the wooden log
  • Get the wooden log, bring it to the top of the stairs
  • Drop the wooden log on the wooden Pressure Plate:
Climb the stairs with the wooden log, and drop it onto the wooden Pressure Plate
  • A cutscene will be shown
  • Climb into the vent that just opened


5.2) MIRRORS | ORIENTATION #2

This is second mirrors orientation puzzle of the game. You will need to orient them as follows:

5.3) GENERATOR 2 | FIND CODE

Soul Room: Find Code for Generator 2

When you have solved the second light mirror puzzle, you will need to find the code to access Generator 2:

  • HINT 1: The code is about YOU, when it all started for YOU as a human being.
  • Still can’t find it? Check the spoiler below

Spoiler:

  • HINT 2: If you lied at the very first keypad of the game, or still don’t know, check in OPTIONS | ACCOUNT
  • Still can’t find it? Check the spoiler below

Spoiler:

  • It’s your birth year! You can edit it in OPTIONS | ACCOUNT if you didn’t enter a correct value when starting the game with the first keypad.
  • If for some reason there never was a year of birth setup (bug?) the code will fail-safe to the current year


When you have entered the code, you will now be able to repair Generator 2 and return to the Big Door, which will now be open. You have now completed the Soul Room!

6) WHITE | PATH
Spoiler:

  1. Walk forward a few seconds (about 8s)
  2. A White Door will appear after some time
  3. If you wait longer, a gift will be given to you by I.G.
  4. Walk inside the White Door
